CARDONE Industries Inc. Claims Product Quality Leadership Award
CV driveaxle remanufacturing quality acknowledged by Frost & Sullivan
San Jose and Philadelphia – June 5, 2002 -- Frost & Sullivan recently announced its prestigious 2002 Product Quality Leadership Award is given to CARDONE Industries, Inc. The company is honored for exceptional quality control in its automotive parts remanufacturing and its reverse engineering business philosophy.
CARDONE Industries, Inc., a 30-year leader in the automotive component remanufacturing market focuses on supplying high quality products and services. Namely, the company has achieved ISO 9001, QS-9000 and ISO 14001 EMS certifications. For this, CARDONE gained the attention and respect of Frost & Sullivan industry analysts. According to Frost & Sullivan’s judging standards, quality control is an essential element of satisfying customers, increasing repeat buying behavior, and assuring long-term market survival.
"CARDONE Industries' success and continued prosperity is based on its devotion--driven by the CARDONE family and filtering down through every level of the company--to producing quality products. "This is the main reason why CARDONE is widely respected as a leading force in legitimizing, and driving the sales of, remanufactured CV driveaxle products within the North American aftermarket," commented Subroto Banerjee, Frost & Sullivan Research Manager.
CARDONE’s reputation for quality is reflected among its peers, specifically for its CV driveaxle remanufacturing capabilities. When asked, many market participants named CARDONE as the best supplier of quality remanufactured CV driveaxle in North America.
One of the ways CARDONE demands quality control is an exclusive employee color-coded accountability system to ensure that each unit passes the test at every step of the manufacturing process. CARDONE also insists on using top quality new and remanufactured components in its remanufactured CV driveaxles.
"We are honored to receive such a distinguishing award. It exhibits our company's commitment to quality and excellence," said Michael Cardone, Jr., President and CEO of CARDONE Industries.
CV shafts are electronically monitored for straightness, cracks and the shaft is measured for original equipment (OE) specifications. In addition, CARDONE uses only high quality neoprene CV boots on its CV driveaxles, which are attached with clamps that are tightened by pneumatic machinery. Furthermore, CARDONE follows the OE geometry shape of the joint components using only heat resistant grease, thus preserving the life of the part.
The quality control that CARDONE strives for in its remanufactured CV driveaxles has resulted in low defects, low warranty claims and has earned CARDONE a reputation for exceptional products.
