CARDONE Industries Executive Wins Prestigious Business Award

CARDONE Industries, the largest privately-held remanufacturer of aftermarket auto parts in the world, is pleased to announce that Christin Cardone McClave was honored as one of SmartCEO’s 2016 Philadelphia Family Business Award winners.

The Family Business Awards is a program that honors family businesses that make up the backbone of the American economy.  More than two-thirds of privately held businesses in the U.S. are family-owned firms.  McClave and Cardone Industries were nominated for the prestigious award in the large multi-generational family firm category.

A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, McClave serves as Chief People Officer and is a Board Member at Cardone.  In her role, McClave is responsible for Culture and People Strategy, Talent and Leadership Development, and Corporate and Internal Communications.  She began her professional career at Johnson & Johnson, where she held several leadership positions.

The core values of Cardone Industries have not changed since the company’s founding more than 45 years ago, according to McClave.  She says the company helps its employees find significance and purpose and motivates people to do well, do the right thing, and work toward the goal of high performance.

“At Cardone, we pride ourselves on our commitment to family.  My father started a wonderful family-owned business many years ago and we continue to do everything it takes to treat our people with dignity and respect and help them better their lives because of Cardone’s influence,” said McClave.

In 2009, McClave founded Unifi Coaching to help organizations with leadership development, organizational strategy and governance.  Her work in the area of corporate and leadership development has won her praise from many Philadelphia-area executives.
